- The app name is displayed as “Connexions”.
- An app name is shortened like “Connexions...” by iOS when it is long, so Connexions 2 uses “Connexions” for its name on a device to prevent this problem. The name is also used in other places in the app to retain consistency.
- Can I use this app in other apps?
- You cannot use Connexions 2 in other apps due to technical restriction.
- This app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open.

- Can I use this app on a jailbroken iOS?

As you know, jailbreaking is a violation of the Apple's end-user license agreement (EULA), so this app is not guaranteed to work on such environment.

Group
- Some groups displayed in other apps are not displayed in this app.
- Connexions 2 displays contacts and groups only in the default account. So if an other app displays them not in the default account, they are different from each other. See How to Use > Default Account & Source for the detailts of the default account.
- The group icons and order of groups are not reflected to other apps.
- The group icons and order of groups are the functionalities offered by Connexions 2 and they are not reflected to other apps.
- Local groups are not displayed on other apps and services.
- Local groups are used only in Connexions 2 and they are not shared with other apps. See How to Use > Group Mode for the details.
- Groups displayed in Connexions are not displayed in Connexions 2.
- If you use Connexions in the Local mode, groups displayed in Connexions are not displayed in Connexions 2. This is because groups of Local mode of Connexions are able to be used only in Connexions. Similarly, groups of Local mode of Connexions 2 are able to be used only in Connexions 2. See Group Mode for the details of the group mode.
- I found that some or all contacts in groups had been ungrouped when I opened this app.

If you do the following operations, contacts in groups are possible to be ungrouped.
- Editing contacts by other apps or services
- Setting the Contacts setting of the account setting to OFF, and setting it to ON again later (Only for local groups)
- Removing the account setting of which you use the contacts, and adding it again later (Only for local groups)
- I found that some or all group icons and the order of groups had been cleared when I opened this app.

If you delete this app, the data for group icons and the order of groups are also deleted. So if you reinstall this app after deleting, they are cleared.
If you do the following operations, they are possible to be cleared.- Editing groups by other apps or services
- Merging contacts on your iPhone to iCloud
- Setting the Contacts setting of the account setting of iCloud to OFF
- Setting the Contacts setting of the account setting to OFF, and setting it to ON again later
- Removing the account setting of which you use the contacts, and adding it again later
- Can I use this app with Exchange to manage groups?
- Yes, you can. But, this app always runs in the local group mode when using with Exchange. See How to Use > Group Mode for the details.
- Groups on Google are not displayed in this app.
- At the time of this writing, groups on Google are not synced by iOS. See How to Use > When you set the default account to an account of Google to know how to deal with this problem.
- Groups created by this app are displayed as contacts on Google.
- At the time of this writing, groups on Google and groups on iOS seem to be not compatible with each other, and groups created by Connexions 2 are displayed as contacts on Google. See How to Use > When you set the default account to an account of Google to know how to deal with this problem.
Contact
- Can I set custom ringtones?
- At the time of this writing, it is impossible to handle custom ringtones in apps except for ones of Apple. So you cannot set custom ringtones by Connexions 2.
- Some contacts displayed in other apps are not displayed in this app.
- Connexions 2 displays contacts and groups only in the default account. So if an other app displays them not in the default account, they are different from each other. See How to Use > Default Account & Source for the detailts of the default account.
- Some information of a contact displayed in other apps and services are not displayed in the Info screen.
- Connexions 2 displays information of contacts only offered by iOS. So custom information of other apps and services are not displayed. The information of contacts only offered by iOS are the ones displayed in the Contacts app. So the information not displayed in the Contacts app are not displayed in Connexions 2 too.
- The Display Order setting of the Settings app is ignored.
- The display order for contacts in some language such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean is determined automatically by iOS. So the Display Order setting is ignored for them.
- Does this app support the Short Name setting of the Settings app?
- No, Connexions 2 does not support the Settings app > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > CONTACTS > Short Name setting.
Phone
- I cannot make a phone call to the phone number which contains # or *.
- You cannot make a phone call to the phone number which contains # or * due to technical restriction.
Email / Group Email
- I cannot create or send an email.

When you create and send an email, Connexions 2 only passes an email address (or email addresses on group email) to the Mail app (strictly speaking, the framework of iOS to send an email), and the Mail app takes charge of creating and sending an email.
So, If an email address is not passed to the Mail app, it may be due to Connexions 2. But, if other problems happen, they are not due to Connexions 2. - Where can I check sent and saved emails?
- You can check them in the Mail app.
Message / Group Message
- I cannot create or send an message.

When you create and send an message, Connexions 2 only passes an address (or addresses on group message) to the Messages app (strictly speaking, the framework of iOS to send a message), and the Messages app takes charge of creating and sending an message.
So, If an address is not passed to the Messages app, it may be due to Connexions 2. But, if other problems happen, they are not due to Connexions 2. - Where can I check sent messages?
- You can check them in the Messages app.
- Can I set email addresses as recipients of a group message?
- You can select only phone numbers as recipients of a group message in the screen to select addresses due to technical restriction. On the other hand, you can add email addresses in the screen to create a message.
Search
- [Phone] Symbols which are not displayed on the Info screen are displayed on search results for phone numbers.
- Phone numbers registered to contacts are displayed as is on search results for phone numbers. On the other hand, formatted phone numbers by iOS are displayed on the Info screen. So phone numbers displayed on each screen are possible to be different from each other.
- [Phone] Can I search symbols in phone numbers such as a parenthesis and hyphen?
- You can search symbols only which you can enter using the displayed keyboard.
- [Address] Countries are not displayed as search results.
- You can search by countries, but they are not displayed as search results.
Trash
- I found that some or all contacts in Trash had been gone when I opened this app.
- If you delete this app, the data for Trash is also deleted. So if you reinstall this app after deleting, it is cleared.
If you delete contacts in Trash or add them to groups by other apps and services, they are gone from Trash.
Others
- Can I use some URL scheme for this app?
- You can use the URL scheme to launch this app. The scheme is “connexions”.
